This is my first watercolour painting. Majority wet on wet technique. For this painting I was trying to capture a view from Ainley Top, Huddersfield. As usual, there is some artistic licence. In this first painting, lacking in confidence, the best I could do for features was a ghostly Castle Hill tower on the left and a smoking chimney / factory near the centre.
