I recently watched Dune and this is a painting inspired by the planet Salusa Secundus, home of the Imperial Army, the fearsome Sardaukar. The planet is depicted as a dark rain soaked baron landscape. Having just finished a monochrome painting, I couldn't resist adding some colour to this one.
